REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLE FORMATTING

 

 

 It is possible to publish an article offered for publication in the name of one author or in the name of one of the co-authors in each volume. The participants in the symposia have the right to publish articles only in those volumes of the issue they have not published articles in.

The size of the article, including the sketches, the tables, the diagrams, the bibliography and the abstract should be at least 7 and within 30 pages. The terms for publications with size over 30 pages are to be negotiated with the publisher.

The article should be written using the computer programme Word 9.0 for Windows in a DOC format or a compatible version of Word. It should be sent by e-mail, but it is obligatory to be archived as a ZIP or RAR file. If the file size is bigger than 1.5 MB, the article should be sent in parts, but with file size not bigger than 1.5 MB. The space at the end of each part of the article is considered for a beginning of a new line of the next part of the article.

All following instructions below refer to report formatting using Word 9.0 for Windîws, as the menus are to be configured as it follows:

Page Setup:

Margins: Top - 2.54 cm; Bottom - 2.54 ñm; Left - 2.54 ñm; Right - 2.54 ñm.

Paper Size: A4

Format:

Font - Times New Roman; Font Style - Regular; Size - 11

Paragraph: Line Spacing All: Single; Alignment: Justified;

Spacing: Before - 6 pt.

The rest options indicate 0.

The report pages should not be paginated.

The title of the report should be centered and written with Times New Roman ¹11 font, with Bold capital letters. The names of the authors /first full, initial of the second and family full names/ should be written with small letters with the same font size underneath, and on new line – the names and addresses of the organizations they represent. Scientific ranks, titles and addresses should not be mentioned. The title should be written on the next line, in the same way, with capital letters Bold, but in English, and under it with small letters – the names of the authors, and on new line – the names and addresses of the organizations they represent.

An abstract in English within 15 lines should be written two blank lines below and the general requirements for the text and Italic font should be applied. The key words are written on a new line in an italic font – descriptors according to the basic rules of the text.

The presentation text should begin on a blank line below. The new idea should be written at the beginning of the next line. Blank lines are left only if necessary. The titles in the text are written with Bold capital letters after a blank line, on a new line, left aligned. They should be numbered with Arabic numbers. The subtitles are to be written with first capital letter and following small letters with an italic font. They are to be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers 1.1(respectively 1.1.1; 1.1.2 etc.); 1.2; 1.3 etc.

The tables, charts and the figures should be built in the text softwarely, notwithstanding the programme type they were made. The permissible maximum size of the figures and the charts is 15 x 15 cm. The size of the tables should not be bigger than A4 sheet of paper, formatted according to the specified requirements. The orientation of the figures, charts and tables should be Portrait. Between the text of the article and the tables (respectively the figures, charts and formulae) there should be a space. The text under them should be centered and after a space it should be written with font size # 11. The numbers and the text within are written with Times New Roman font, size # 10. The formulae are created with the WORD editor or are built in as objects if they are created with special programmes.

The References follow after a space from the basic text. They are numbered with Arabic numbers, at the beginning of each new line, observing the bibliographic description standard.

The articles not conformed to the requirements, will not be published and the remitted fees will not be refunded. Files, infected with viruses, will not be processed and the fees will not be refunded.
